Lara Angelil’s story with performer Britt Liberg offered a contemporary reinterpretation of women in 1950s advertising, using the kitchen not as a static domestic backdrop but as a charged performance space. The result sits exactly where Lara’s work is strongest: bodily, sculptural, and alive with the tension between object, gesture, and image.
